Welcome to SMK Simpang Beluru, Kuala Kangsar, Perak Cikgu Sarah Alexander (Teacher Sarah).
Kami warga SMK Simpang Beluru mengalu-alukan kedatangan Cikgu Sarah ke sekolah kami. Berikut adalah sedikit latar belakang mengenai Cikgu Sarah.
Teacher Sarah was born and raised in Bloulder, Colorado, and graduated from Wiliamette University in Oregon in 2019 with B.A.’s in Spanish and Civic Communication and Media. Nature and the outdoors have always played an important role in Sarah’s life, having lead her to to assume various different outdoor leadership positions in her young adult-hood, including ski-instructor and rock climbing guide. More recently, Sarah was a coordinator for her university’s outdoor program. In addition to provide valuable outdoor leadership experience, this opportunities sparked her interest in uniting enviromental sustainability with outdoor creation. In addition to environment, Sarah is passionate about language learning and culture exchange. After high scholl, she spent a year living in Costa Rica and Peru volunteering at after scholl programs and with turtle conservation. In college, the opportunity to study in Buenos Aires reinforced her desire to spend extended period of time abroad after graduation. Sarah is looking forward to the experience of navigating a new culture and language, and explore ways in which communication can be united with environmental sustainability and foreign affairs.
